Equipped with a talent that is truly God-given and a passion for the glory of God alone, Jared boldly proclaims his mission to love God and love people. His driving desire is that the worship of believers everywhere would not only be expressed by the songs they sing, but by their lives, as well. With this as his mission, he stands as a beautiful example of what God will do with a life that is unashamedly under His leadership.
From 2004-2010, Jared served as the Minister of Student Worship at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX. Each week, he was given the extraordinary task of leading 1,200 junior high and high school students in genuine worship. Through much prayer and godly council, he followed God's call and began traveling full-time in July of 2010.
In 2008, he released his first full-length album, "Near" and has seen it touch lives, whether through the purchase of the album or through the avenue of airtime on KLTY's "Sunday Morning Praise". Jared also had the opportunity to perform at KLTY's Celebrate Freedom in 2008, in Dallas, TX, as well as collaborated with other worship leaders in the Passion Conference Choir in 2011. He has been a featured artist for SPIN 360 magazine, writing an article and having his songs, "Why We Sing" and "Hallelujah" featured. But, regardless of the opportunity, Jared's heart has remained the same. A faithful, obedient and humble servant, willing to be used for the glorification of God's name and to see people develop a life-changing relationship with the Lover of their souls.
"…I pray these songs not only give people something great to listen to, but would also give them an amazing and unbelievable connection with their Creator. That is true worship."
